Coach Billy has spent over 30 years coaching across all ages beginning in his home state of North Carolina. He has worked with everyone from high school to tee ball teaching the game of baseball and building strong relationships along the way. Since coming to the metroplex in 2001, he has worked with many D-BAT teams as well as several high schools. Coach Billy is known in the Frisco area for the “Monday night hitting crew,” which has featured many players who have gone on to the collegiate level over the last handful of years. The Philadelphia Phillies drafted his oldest son, Jordan, in the 3rd round of the 2021 MLB draft, and his youngest son, Josh, is a high school freshman at Prosper Rock Hill. Coach Viars believes in always being a student of the game as well as a servant leader. Both Coach Billy and his brother Coach Andy honor their father by continuing to grow the game as he did his entire life.
